My weight was out of control, and our company offered a program that sounded like it would be easy to follow. Also, there were a lot of people that signed up for it, so I knew it would be easier for me to stay on this program. My expectations are to lose at least 50 lbs. on this program. I have not completed all the steps yet but have made it halfway in my weight loss goal. I will continue on to meet my goals. Everyone in our family (2 adults/4 teens) was heavy when Cindy and I began this class 6 weeks ago. We were eating like the typical American family and the results of our poor nutritional choices threatened to overwhelm us. As Cindy and I have lost collective +40 lbs. during this journey, so too, have our 4 teens accounting for another 50 lbs. just through the changed we made in the contents of our pantry and refrigerator. Started at 138.2 pounds. Wasn’t working out previously. Have started going to the gym for 1.5 hours and about 3-4 times a week. I’ve eaten more veggies during these 6 weeks than I have my entire life combined. I learned that I actually like salads, veggies, and backed fish. When I started I had a pretty good base knowledge of what was healthy and what wasn’t. i used to be able to lose weight easily, but I’m now 38 and it is so much harder. This program was a jump start of me getting back into super shape! I lost 7.4 pounds and 6.2 of those were fat! I will continue to use the knowledge I learned from here forward.
