A: We highly suggest you treat this as a college course and make every effort to plan other events around your scheduled HLS class. Whatever you do make sure you don’t miss the first 3 weeks as we set the foundation for the rest of your life! If you have to miss a class you can ask a neighboring student to copy their previous week’s notes. Please contact your instructor with any questions!

When I started I had a pretty good base knowledge of what was healthy and what wasn’t. i used to be able to lose weight easily, but I’m now 38 and it is so much harder. This program was a jump start of me getting back into super shape! I lost 7.4 pounds and 6.2 of those were fat! I will continue to use the knowledge I learned from here forward. Just because you’re ‘thin’ doesn’t mean you are healthy. For YEARS I have cycled on & off of various fat-burners. Not just for the appetite suppressant but for the energy. One thing I noticed when taking these supplements was that various knots in my body would grow when I was on them and would shrink when I stopped. Sure, all of the advertisements touted the ‘safety’ of these products, yada, yada, yada, but REALLY?! If you have cysts in your hands and wrists that grow when you’re on a certain product, something isn’t right. But still I continued…. Honestly II feel so much more energetic these days.

My name is Beth – I am almost 50 & I’ve been fighting my weight since my early 20s! I did weight watchers 4 years ago and lost 30 lbs. I have kept 20 lbs. off! After doing participating in this program, I have lost 12 pounds. I would like to lose an additional 20 - 25 pounds. I need to be healthy so that I can be around for my son Tanner, who has autism!
