A: NOT AT ALL!!! Jumpstart is NOT for losing weight quickly. The purpose of JS is to 1) to get excess sugar out of the blood stream so the body will go get it’s energy from stored fat cells 2) to kick-start your metabolism, 3) getting your body hydrated. A side effect of Jump Start, if done right, is getting rid of non-essential body fat.
Started at 138.2 pounds. Wasn’t working out previously. Have started going to the gym for 1.5 hours and about 3-4 times a week. I’ve eaten more veggies during these 6 weeks than I have my entire life combined. I learned that I actually like salads, veggies, and backed fish. "I heard about 'magical inches lost' from a friend of mine who did the program through her school. We both had the same issue of never being overweight but always having a few inches to lose in fat to be lean. I had gained 20 lbs. after I got married and had kept it on for three years. I wanted to give the program a shot. My expectations were to learn a lot about nutrition and to hopefully lose weight/inches in my fat mass. It appears that I am just starting my personal improvement journey. I have lost significant weight (approximately 25 lbs.) and hope to combine program to duplicate the results.
